Privacy Policy and Terms of Use

1. Introduction

Welcome to Dulang, curated English videos for kids. This document combines the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for the Dulang app (Android and iOS). By using Dulang, the legal guardian agrees to what is described here.

2. Audience and supervised use

Dulang is aimed at children and must be set up and supervised by a responsible adult. The parental PIN available in the app is a control tool exclusive to the guardian, it is not accessible to the child.

3. Data stored on the device

Favorites, playback history, child profiles, theme preferences, and the parental PIN are stored locally on the device. This data is not sent to our servers as a browsing profile. The parental PIN is stored securely (encrypted storage on the device).

4. What we do not collect

Dulang does not collect personal data from children. We do not display advertising in the app. We do not track behavior for advertising purposes. We do not sell data.

5. Account and subscriptions

Dulang does not require account creation to use the catalog. Dulang Premium subscriptions are managed directly by Google Play or App Store, on the guardian's account. Subscription control is processed by RevenueCat. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com.

6. Use of the YouTube API

Dulang uses the YouTube API to display videos, thumbnails, and metadata from curated channels. The audiovisual content belongs to the creators and the YouTube platform. Playback occurs inside the app, the child does not freely browse the internet through Dulang. See Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com.

7. Minimum operational data

For catalog synchronization, our infrastructure (Supabase) may process minimal technical data, such as app version and anonymous device identifiers, exclusively to operate the service. This data is not linked to personal identity.

8. GDPR/LGPD and your rights

To the extent that personal data is processed, you may request confirmation, access, correction, or deletion of data through the contact channel below, in accordance with applicable data protection laws (including Brazil's LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018). Requests related to children's data must be made by the legal guardian.

9. Security

We employ good practices to protect the app: secure parental PIN storage, protected API keys, and encrypted communications. No system is 100% invulnerable, keep your operating system up to date.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or by other reasonable means. The latest version will always be available on the Play Store and in the Terms and Privacy menu within the app.
